Who we are

Clark is an analytics service for med spas, salons, and spas. We connect to your booking and business systems (starting with Boulevard), turn the data into a live dashboard and a weekly brief, and answer questions about your business. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect three kinds of information:

  • Account information. Your name, work email, business name, and role, so we can create your account and control access.
  • Business data. The operational data you connect or upload, such as appointments, services, revenue, providers, memberships, and customer feedback from Boulevard and other tools you choose to link.
  • Usage data. Basic logs and product analytics about how the app is used, so we can keep it secure and improve it.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Build and maintain your dashboard, briefings, and answers.
  • Connect, sync, and clean your data on your behalf.
  • Provide support and communicate with you about the service.
  • Keep the service secure and detect or prevent abuse.

How we share your information

We do not sell your data, and we never share one customer's data with another. We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers. A small set of trusted vendors that help us run the product, such as cloud hosting, database, and AI processing. They act on our instructions under agreements that limit them to providing services to us.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our customers and the service.
  • Business transfers. If Clark is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

AI processing

Clark uses AI models to generate your briefings and answer your questions. When you ask Clark something, the relevant data is sent to our AI providers to produce a response. We work with those providers under terms that prohibit using your business data to train their models, and we never use your data to build models that serve any other customer.

Health information

Clark analyzes business, financial, and operational data. It is not designed to receive or process Protected Health Information (PHI) or other clinical or treatment records, and we are not a HIPAA Business Associate. Please configure your data sources to exclude such information. See Section 5 of our Terms of Service.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, keep the service secure, and understand usage. We do not use them to sell your data or serve third-party advertising. See our Cookie Notice for details and choices.

Data security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls. Access to your data within Clark is limited to what is needed to run and support the service. For more, see our Security overview.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your business data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it for legal or security reasons.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and you can disconnect a data source at any time. To make a request, email us at clark@kenanali.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

Clark is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above and, for material changes, let you know through the product or by email.
